I have been cooking since I was 13 years old. In 2005, I started a B&B, Harmony Hill of Clermont. I like to joke that I did so because I didn't have enough people to cook for. One of my guests told me, "Forget the B&B! Open a restaurant!"  Gluten-Free Dessert Kitchen was born and morphed into Ellen's Country Kitchen where we sell our food at Farmers Markets...

I am passionate about cooking for people who like to eat good food. I started out baking gluten-free in 2008 but never liked to encourage people to eat sweets. In early 2016, I became a health coach and have funneled my passion into cooking nutrient-dense, locally sourced high-quality food for others.

Our menu and food are thoughtfully created and prepared to assure eating well in a way that complements good health. Local meats and a variety of beans and grains are utilized to provide good, healthy sources of protein. We focus on colorful veggies to assure varied antioxidants which are vital to good health. Good quality olive oil provides good fats.
